The reputation of The Anchor Digbeth as a renowned traditional Irish music venue enters a new chapter on Thursday 29th October with the official launch of our weekly live session in conjunction with Comhaltas.
Bringing together some of Birmingham’s most talented uilleann pipe, fiddle, bodhrán, and button accordion (‘box’) players, this brand-new Thursday night fixture celebrates the living musical heritage of the Birmingham Irish Quarter.
Our inaugural anniversary session launches from 7:00 PM with free admission and will feature Vince Jordan, former president of Comhaltas, playing alongside renowned traditional musician Patsy Maloney.
